Pick Up Pictures Thursday 10/18

(10/18/2007) Cindy King will be at the rink Thursday at 5:15pm to pass out the pictures to the HSE A and HSE B teams. The HSE C team can pick up its pictures at its regularly scheduled practice time on Thursday evening.

New additions to the website

(10/17/2007) The complete schedules have been added to the web site. Also, the current team pictures have been posted. The Recent Galleries have been updated with photos of the HSE C vs South Stars B team. Check them out!

HSE A Practice Time Change for 10/24

(10/16/2007) The HSE A Team will practice at 5:45pm on Wednesday, October 24. Please note the change.

HSE A names Captains

(10/16/2007) The HSE A team has selected its Captains for the 2007-08 Season. Forward Logan Blackwell, a senior attending Hamilton Southeastern High School, will sport the 'C'. For home games, Assistant Captains wearing the 'A' will be defenseman Scott Gillespie, a senior at Fishers High School forward Kyle Peterson, a senior at Fishers High School, and Sean Lattal, a junior at Fishers High School. For away games, the Assistant Captains will be forward Alex Dobie, a junior at Hamilton Southeastern High School, forward Nick Burton, a senior at Fishers High School, and defenseman Matt Myers, a junior at Hamilton Southeastern High School.

HSE B wins Fall Foliage Tournament

(10/15/2007) The HSE B team won the Fall Foliage Tournament this weekend with a victory over the Columbus Icemen, 6-0, in the Championship game. Congratulations to the team!

T-Bird Classic Looking For A Team

Turkey (10/11/2007) The HSE Varsity 'B' team hosts the Fourth Annual T-Bird Classic Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 23-25). We need one team to replace New Haven which withdrew on October 8th to get back to ten teams. The ice and times have been been scheduled. We will be assigning HSE B and HSE C parents time slots to run the clock or do the game sheet as we have done in years past. Please email Jim Martin jpmsales@insightbb.com if you are interested in volunteering for any of the following tournament positions: 1) Team roster stickers on Game Sheets; 2) Skills Competition; 3) Tournament Bracket Poster; 4) Trophies; 5) Hospitality Suite for Coaches, Officials, and Volunteers; 6) Beverage Handout to teams; 7) T-Bird Flyer; 8) Tournament Director for Friday/Saturday AM, Saturday PM, or Sunday. Last Indy Official Seminar Sunday

IHOA Logo (10/9/2007) The last "local" officiating seminar is this Sunday, October 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at The Arctic Zone in Westfield. Remember - every official must attend a seminar every season to be eligible to referee games. See the IHOA website for more information about becoming an official. Don't miss this seminar if you are interested in officiating during the 2007-08 season.

Time running out on local Officiating Seminars

HSE B names Captains

(10/4/2007) The HSE B team has selected its Captains for the 2007-08 Season. Defenseman Evan Hupp, a junior attending Fishers High School, will wear the 'C'. This is Evan's second straight year he has been named Captain. Assistant Captains wearing the 'A' will be forward Alex June, a sophomore at Hamilton Southeastern High School, and defenseman John Newman, a junior at Hamilton Southeastern.

HSE B playing Tourney this Weekend!

(10/1/2007) The HSE B team will participate in the Hoosier Wings Invitational Tournament this weekend. The team will play U16 teams from Indy, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. The schedule is included in the "Two Weeks at a Glance" section for October 5-7. The games will be at the Forum and Carmel ice rinks.
