HSE Hockey Club Family Picnic
(7/31/2007) The HSE Hockey Club Family picnic will be held on August 26th from
1:00 - 3:00 p.m. The picnic will include food, the HSE Hockey apparel sale, and
the Players Code of Conduct meeting. Attendance at the Code of Conduct
meeting is mandatory for all players. The location of the picnic is still to
be determined. This information will be updated as soon as the location is available.
This is a great opportunity to meet your teammates and their families. The apparel
sale at the picnic is a great opportunity to see the actual items before you buy.

Fisher Youth Hockey Association Information Night
(7/20/2007) "Game On!" My involvement in hockey started by
playing street hockey with my buddies. Fortunately we didn't have much traffic to
dodge. Did you know that most kids in the U.S. get interested in hockey because someone
they know is involved in a youth league? Now you can help grow youth hockey
in Fishers. The Fishers Youth Hockey Association will conduct an information night from
6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at the Forum at Fishers. The organization provides
recreational youth hockey for boys and girls ages 5-14 from October to February. Help
the FYHA get the word out. Go Falcons!
2007-08 HSE Varsity Hockey Rosters
(7/18/2007) Hockey Director Mike Berger has released the rosters
for all three HSE Varsity teams. Congratulations to all HSE Players. Best of luck to all
three teams this season. Go HSE!
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa... at the HSE Hockey Club Car Wash
(7/16/2007) "Hey, get your car washed today... Working at the Car Wash, yeah... come on
and sing it for me - Car Wash" The Car Wash is scheduled for August 18th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM,
at the Wal-Mart on E. 96th Street in Fishers, just east of I-69. Participation is mandatory
for all HSE hockey players ("Work and Work..."). Parent volunteers are needed as well.
Each team will cover a specific shift. Check the Car Wash Flyer
(MSWORD doc) for specifics. If you have any questions, contact coordinator Judy Knafel at
jknafel@erols.com. This is a great fundraiser for
the hockey club. We look forward to your support. Tell your friends and neighbors.

New HSE Home Jersey
(7/13/2007) HSE will be getting new home jerseys. The jerseys incorporate the
red, white, and royal colors from Hamilton Southeastern High School, and the grey
and red of Fishers High School. The "HSE" lettering on the front will match the
style of the existing away jerseys. The shoulder details will match the current
away jerseys with both the Royals lion head logo and the Fishers tiger logo, one
on each shoulder. Very sharp indeed! Thanks to everyone for their feedback.
Parents Meeting - July 25th, 7 p.m.
(7/13/2007) The HSE Hockey Club will hold its 2007-08 Parents Meeting on
July 25, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. The Meeting will be at the Assessor's Office,
11565 Brooks School Rd (at the intersection of 116th Street and Brooks School Road).

All parents are urged to attend. The nomination and election of the 2007-08
Board of Directors occurs at this meeting. The volunteer positions for all three
teams are filled during this meeting as well. Information regarding the hockey club
and the upcoming season will be handed out. If you cannot make the meeting
and wish to volunteer for a position, please contact Board President Jim Cochran
at JimC@FairFinance.com prior to the meeting.
Dr. Holt named 2007 Indiana Aviator of the Year
(7/12/2007) HSE Hockey Club Assistant Coach Dr. Worthe Holt Jr. has been named the
2007 Indiana Aviator of the Year. He will be honored during the Indianapolis Air
Show August 25-26. Dr. Holt has served for 27 years in the Indiana Air National Guard.

Update! Equipment Fitting Day - Saturday, July 21st.
(7/10/2007) CORRECTION: The HSE Equipment Fitting Day has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 21st.
The times will remain the same as previously announced. The Varsity A
team fitting is from 4:00 -5:00 p.m. Varsity B team fitting is from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Varsity C team will be fitted from 6:30-8:00 p.m. All players are required to attend
the fitting. Returning players must bring their jerseys from last year for inspection.
